Walleye: 20–30 ft on the deep edges, though the good weeds still hold fish; a crawler or small minnow on the lightest jig you can get away with, 1/16 oz even in deep water; go heavier only when the wind will not let the line stay taut. Smallmouth: 20–30 ft off the deep weedlines; live bait and plastics alike; drop shot, Ned rig, Neko rig, heavy jigs, Texas and Carolina rigs are all getting bit. Largemouth: the deep weedlines a few feet inside the smallmouth; the same bass arsenal; the largemouth mixed in run big. Bluegill: a little deeper than the weedlines; find the schools on electronics and stay light on the jig; crappies have slowed along the weedlines and the sunfish are picking up the slack.
